Participate in the first workshop of our study!

Coordinators, partners, and beneficiaries of Comenius Multilateral Projects or Multilateral Networks may be interested in attending a workshop organised in Athens, Greece, on 28-30 October 2011, in the framework of the 2011 EDEN Open Classroom Conference.

In this workshop, people who have participated in Comenius Multilateral Projects and Networks will share their experiences and views on the potential and realised impact of such projects and networks on individuals, institutions and systems, as well as the relevant obstacles and enablers. In this lively discussion, representatives of the consortia will have the chance to make their own examples of good practice and strong impact widely known at the European level and more visible to stakeholders and, through our study, to the European Commission.

The EDEN Open Classroom Conference will this year will focus on large scale educational reforms under way in many European countries regarding modernization of school pedagogy and methodological best practice. This conference gives a very strong dissemination potential to the Comenius consortia that will participate in the workshop. In addition some teachers have used the opportunity to apply for a grant which, if granted to them, can cover their travel and accommodation expenses as well as the conference fees. This was possible under the EC Comenius-Grundtvig In-Service Training programme. In this context school staff from Europe applied to their National Agency for a grant to attend a course linked to the conference.
